Differentiate yourself with ART. Gain unique diagnostic and treatment skills focused on soft-tissue palpation using ART's Diagnostic Algorithm and exclusive protocols. Utilizing palpation, you will compare the movement and texture of healthy versus unhealthy tissue to detect problems with muscles, tendons, and ligaments within singular structures, to help you identify and treat the root causes of pain for your patients. Common results include an average improvement of 80% or more in just five visits or fewer, along with significant pain relief.
Each Level 1 seminar will build your skills across the full body and can be completed in any order. Upon completing the Lower Extremity, Spine, and Upper Extremity Level 1 Seminars, you will be Full Body Level 1 Certified, and gain access to ART's advanced seminars for even better patient results.
As an ART Certified Provider™, you'll also join a global network of experts listed on ART's Provider Search, with access to ARTMan™, provider forums (coming soon!), and exclusive content to enhance your skills and grow your practice.

ART Upper Extremity Level 1 techniques address dysfunctions in the hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders, including frozen shoulder and carpal tunnel syndrome. Attendees will review anatomy and learn to evaluate and treat disorders using 59 protocols. By the end of the seminar, you will be able to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of a patient's upper extremity conditions.
ART Lower Extremity Level 1 covers dysfunctions affecting the feet, ankles, legs, knees, and hips, including runner's knee and plantar fasciitis. Participants will explore lower extremity anatomy and learn to evaluate and treat conditions using 62 protocols. By the end of the seminar, you will be able to comprehensively diagnose and treat a patient's lower extremity condition.
ART Spine Level 1 addresses conditions affecting the head, neck, back, and torso, including chronic pain, headaches, and TMD. Attendees will study spinal anatomy and learn to evaluate and treat dysfunctions using 48 protocols By the end of the seminar, you will be able to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for a patient's spine or spine-related conditions.
Our most comprehensive seminar, this week-long seminar combines Lower Extremity, Spine, and Upper Extremity seminars, covering a wide range of common soft-tissue disorders such as frozen shoulder, back pain, TMD, plantar fasciitis, headaches, and more. The seminar is divided into three sections and provides the ability to comprehensively diagnose and treat a range of conditions throughout the body.
ART seminars require an intermediate to expert understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy. We suggest that providers register at least four to six weeks in advance to allow time for self-study of the seminar curriculum materials. In addition, we highly recommend that student attendees complete at least one semester of gross anatomy prior to attending a seminar. ART seminars provide evidence-based instruction of the necessary skills to detect and treat soft-tissue anomalies and dysfunctions all around the body. Throughout the seminar, attendees review muscle and soft tissue, and how to evaluate and appropriately treat the disorders using the ART Diagnostic Algorithm and the area specific manual protocols. ART protocols can be used to treat a broad list of dysfunctions, including chronic pain, headaches, TMJ, vertigo, concussion symptoms, and other soft-tissue dysfunctions.
ART provides a hybrid learning model with online modules and in-person training. Attendees are expected to complete online preparatory materials consisting of a review of gross anatomy, explanations of the ART Diagnostic Algorithm, treatment methodology, protocol instructions, and a pre-credentialing exam. During the in-person portion of the seminar, attendees work alongside instructors and other attendees to practice palpation and treatment protocols. After completing the online modules and 15 hours of in-person training, attendees will demonstrate their skills through a practical exam to determine if they meet the minimum requirements to use ART treatment in a clinical setting.

You can set yourself up for success by refreshing or advancing your understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy, including origin, insertion, action, and nerve innervation before your seminar. In addition to seminar curriculum materials, Thieme's Atlas of Anatomy is useful as a reference and study guide for all ART seminars.
