Chiropractors
Active Release Techniques will be applying for pre-approval from the following states/provinces: Alabama, Alaska, Alberta, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia (Washington DC), Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Puerto Rico.
Continuing education (CE) credit for Chiropractors in attendance of ART seminars is administered by the Northeast College of Health Sciences (Northeast College).

Physical Therapists
Active Release Techniques will be applying for pre-approval from the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
*Alabama, Idaho, Iowa, North Carolina, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming do not require preapproval.
*Maine does not have Continuing Education requirements.
ART does not have preapproval from New York. A certificate of attendance will be provided to all attendees following the seminar.

Athletic Trainers/Therapists, Massage Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Acupuncturists:
Active Release Techniques will be applying for pre-approval from the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer, National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards, American Occupational Therapy Association, and National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

ART Seminars consist of 80% or more hands-on practice and training, with attendees receiving immediate feedback from instructors and other attendees.


Seminar Schedule

Day 1:

  • 8:00 AM-12:00 PM: Fascial Chain Assessment and Treatment
  • 1:00 PM-5:00 PM: Fascial Chain Assessment and Treatment

Day 2:

  • 8:00 AM-12:00 PM: Fascial Chain Assessment and Treatment
  • 1:00 PM-5:00 PM: Testing


Included with registration

  • ARTMan: Our iPad and web-based application includes a digital version of our manual plus exclusive video demonstrations of the protocols. ARTMan can be linked with the Visible Body Suite App (separate purchase) for more in-depth study. ARTMan is exclusively available to active ART Certified Providers.
  • Paper Manual: Optional paper manual. (Free for attendees registering as New Certification/Student. Available as an additional purchase for Recertification attendees.)


Appropriate attire:

  • Most of our seminars consist of hands-on practice on attendees. Wear clothing which allows for ease of movement so that fellow attendees may easily palpate and practice protocols on you. Athletic attire, shorts, yoga pants, t-shirts, joggers, athletic polo shirts and tops are most appropriate.


Testing:

  • New Certification attendees (including Students) will test on two chains on the afternoon of day 2 beginning at 1:00 PM. Each test will take no more than 15 minutes. Attendees should plan to arrive no less than 15 minutes before their scheduled practical test and may leave as soon as they complete their exam. (Testing may end as late as 5:00 PM. Please plan accordingly).


Miscellaneous:

  • Portable tables: At most seminars outside of Colorado Springs, we ask that attendees bring a portable table, if possible. As a token of our appreciation, attendees that bring a table will receive a $50 credit toward a future seminar and be entered into a drawing for $500 off their next seminar. Look for more information in our post-registration emails.

Students who are currently enrolled in an academic program or who have graduated less within a year are eligible for $600 off their Fascia - New Certification seminars.
