Prerequisites Required
ART Fascia provides evidence-based instruction in the assessment and treatment of local fascial chain dysfunctions, with an emphasis on precise tissue differentiation and the restoration of normal texture, tension, and movement across fascial structures. Detection of aberrant tissue begins with a thorough history, palpation, and application of the diagnostic algorithm, which helps clinicians identify dysfunction arising from fascia, muscle, nerve, or their interdependence. The diagnostic process continues throughout treatment as well. Throughout the seminar, attendees review basic fascial anatomy, structural, functional, diagnostic and treatment principles, which provide the basis for instruction on appropriate use and execution of manual protocols. Attendees will also learn how to evaluate and treat fascial dysfunctions, densifications, adhesions and contractures using the ART Diagnostic Algorithm. Fascia protocols can be used to treat a broad list of dysfunctions, including force transmission, stability and control, relative position / motion and other complex soft-tissue dysfunctions.
