Active Release Techniques (ART): Advanced Full Body Level 2

Description

The ART Advanced Full Body 2 seminar is a one-day review of the most used Level 2 ART protocols. Previous completion of all ART Level 2 seminars (Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, and Spine) is a pre-requisite. Over the course of the eight-hour seminar, attendees review the muscle and soft tissue structures of the upper and lower extremities, and the muscle and soft-tissue structures surrounding the spinal column. Attendees review how to evaluate and appropriately treat disorders using the ART Diagnostic Algorithm and 49 of the most used and clinically relevant Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, and Spine Level 2 manual protocols. The techniques taught and reviewed during the Advanced Full Body Level 2 seminar can be used to treat a broad list of dysfunctions, including frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, runner’s knee, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, chronic back pain, headaches, TMJ and other soft-tissue dysfunctions.

  • Properly explain to the patient the active/passive motion required to shorten and lengthen a muscle from its anatomical position based upon the ART protocol selected for treatment.

  • Properly assess a patient’s condition using ART’s Diagnostic Algorithm.

  • Properly select treatment protocols which help to reduce pain, improve ROM, and restore function for a patient/client to return to ADL, sport, or other desired activity outcome.

  • Properly perform treatment protocols which help to reduce pain, improve ROM, and restore function for a patient/client to return to ADL, sport, or other desired activity outcome.

Seminar Schedule
ART Seminars consist of 80% or more hands-on practice and training, with attendees receiving immediate feedback from instructors and other attendees.

  • 8:00 AM-12:00 PM: Protocol Review
  • 1:00 PM-5:00 PM: Protocol Review
